Winter Wildflower 2022
In the midst of the winter when everything else slows down and the landscape sleeps, a wildflower blooms, unexpectedly, beneath falling leaves, flowing water and dancing branches. Nurturing the trail that runs through landscapes of precious memories and new experiences, Winter Wildflower showcases Chloe Caday’s recent plein air paintings of the Victorian bushland during her first year of motherhood. This body of work is a deep exploration into her connection to place and home, and the significance of motherhood reshaping her current practice.
